Follow these 21 exercises and you will change your paradigm. In our daily lives most of us do things out of habit. At some time in your life you have created an automatic system to make your life better. This habit jumps into action whenever it is triggered. Go on ‘habit patrol’. Real Example: Chicken Little heard “the sky is falling”. He grabbed a chair and put it on top of his head to protect himself. Of course the sky was not falling but just in case he did not remove the chair. That’s clearly a bad habit! Years later, one of his business associates asked him, “Why do you carry a chair on your head?” His response was “What chair?” Many habits, we have are as useless to us now, as that chair. We follow these habits. It’s like we are on automatic pilot. I am suggesting that you think about ‘old habits’. Try taking a drive down different streets to get anywhere you travel today. See what you’ve been missing somewhere else. Take back these old beliefs and make new choices. Get out of old thinking and choose those ideas that make sense now. Are we making advertising choices based on old habits? Real Example: The industrial revolution created mass advertising and market shares. How many TV’s do we need? Advertising has its place. Do you know where? A wise man said “Advertising builds Image and Relationships gets you sales”. Advertising is expensive; it is a science. What do you want - Sales or Image?
